What does this Baptist Flag mean?

Baptist on the banner represent those ancient people from the time of Christ that have been faithful to the doctrines of Christ down through the ages.

The two lions represent the ordinances of the church. Baptism and the Lords Supper. These try the faith of some. Baptism makes one a member of a scriptural Baptist church, and the table is the perpetual ordinance of the kingdom of Christ. We must be worthy to approach the table and by this we continually remain the executors of the New Testament.

The shield represents the faith of the Baptist of antiquity

The scripture on the shield is Luke 22:29-30 This scripture is when the church was established as the executor of the New Testament and the continuation of the visible kingdom of Christ on earth.

Luk 22:29-30 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; (30) That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

The lower banner states the following: " Kingdom -Church - Body of Christ"  Meaning that the body of Christ is the assembly of scripturally baptized believers which we call the visible church. The church is the visible kingdom of Christ on earth with all authority of heaven to prepare for His return.

The words below the lower banner state: One Lord - One Faith - One Baptism.

The Seven stars on the flag represent the literal seven churches of Asia as found in the Revelation.  These stars are positioned accordingly as they appear on a map. The star of David reminds us that our Lord Jesus Christ was a Jew. The church was established by Christ during his earthly ministry. We as gentiles are grafted into them meaning the church because the unbelieving Jews were broken off. The grafting process is accomplished through Johns baptism.

I pledge allegiance to the Baptist flag
and to the doctrine for which it stands.
One Lord, One Faith, One baptism.
Contending for the faith until Christ returns
